Description

Your voice is one of the most powerful tools you have as an actor! In this fun, hands-on class, students will choose a monologue and spend the session discovering how to bring it to life through clear speech, expression, and confidence. We’ll explore how emphasis, tone, pacing, and vocal choices can completely change the meaning of a line and reveal a character’s intentions.

Students will also learn the basics of phonetics and experiment with accents by discovering how mouth placement and pronunciation create different speech patterns. Through games, exercises, and weekly coaching, actors will strengthen their diction, build vocal confidence, and finish the class with a polished monologue and new skills they can use in every performance.
