CYT Orlando Inc. accepts the Step Up For Students  Scholarship. We accept the FES-US, PEP, FTC & FES-EO scholarships. Below is additional information on the program. Scholarships for Florida Schoolchildren.

 

Step Up For Students was created by the Florida Legislature in 2001 to help alleviate the enormous educational challenges faced by children in Florida.  These scholarships allow the students to consider a participating private school that may better suit their individual needs. They are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, so it is important to check the website regularly and to meet all scholarship requirements and deadlines.

SUFS Applications
 

New families interested in applying for this scholarship should monitor the Step Up for Students website for the opening of new applications.  You are encouraged to click here to sign up for the Step Up For Students interest list.  It will allow you to receive notifications regarding the application season.

Renewal families whose children received a Step Up scholarship for the current school year, check your email around April (date is determined by SUFS) for the link to renew your application for the upcoming school year.  Scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis (giving priority to renewal families), so renew early. 

CYT Orlando is a Direct Pay Provider through Step Up For Students.

If you would like to use your scholarship funds to pay for CYT Orlando Registrations, please follow the following steps:

IMPORTANT: Before beginning this process, please confirm you have already created your Family Account

Before registration opens:

1. Please send an email to info@cytorlando.org with your child(rens) name(s) to let us know you would like to use your SUFS scholarship funds and the class/camp/show your student(s) want(s) to register for. 

2. Log in to your EMA portal and select "Marketplace" in the left-hand column.

3. Then select "Find Providers."

4. Choose your student's name from the drop-down and type CYT Orlando in the search bar. 

5. Select the service offering you are interested in (i.e., Summer Camp, Evening Class, etc.)

6. Add the selected item to your cart and complete checkout. 

7. Once funds are reserved, CYT will email you back within 24 hours with a unique coupon code specific to each student (save this code until registration opens on the CYT Orlando website).


Once registration opens on the website, you will register your students with their coupon codes; the code will reduce the amount due to $0.00 and complete their registration for the class.

Please note: the registration fee balance will appear on your CYT Orlando family account. This will be removed when the funds clear through SUFS.
